The Anglican Church in Sydney will launch a cinema advertising campaign this month aimed at challenging the claims made by the Da Vinci Code that Jesus was not God, did not die on the cross and that he married Mary Magdelene and had a family.

Church property destroyed as Cyclone Larry lashes Queensland

As North Queensland experiences its worst cyclone on record, Anglican offices have been shut down, a church hall has been destroyed and a rectory roof has been ripped off. The town of Innisfail was most affected by Cyclone Larry, where houses were ripped apart by gusts of almost 300 km/h.

New Bishop for the Diocese of Popondota
