Cyclone Winston: Church responds to widespread damage in Fiji

The largest storm ever recorded in the region struck the islands of Fiji over the weekend, after causing widespread damage in Tonga. The Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia is already working to assess the damage and begin its response.

Church of South India in Chennai flood relief

The Church of South India (CSI) Synod has launched an emergency response to assist the victims of severe flooding in Chennai. So far, at least 280 people have been killed as a result of the floods in the southern Indian city, which is also known as madras, and the wider Tamil Nadu state.
