Anglican World magazine, the international publication of the Anglican Communion, is a "great strength" for Christians in South India, who constitute only two percent of the local population, said the Rev. J. Prabhakara Rao, an Anglican Consultative Council representative attending the Lambeth Conference.

This feature was taken from an Editorial in "The North India Church Review"...It is true that the Indian Christians in the broader categories fall within the religious minorities, which somehow have been wrongly linked up with the colonial rule of the Europeans, particularly British which in fact is not true. Fifty years after Indian independence, the Christian impact on India has been "out of all proportion to the number of Christians in the country", according to George Koshy, General Secretary of the Church of South India. (Prof. Koshy is an ACC member and author of an article on the CSI in a forthcoming issue of Anglican World magazine).
