The Anglican Church of Nigeria has launched a competition for composers to create a new anthem for the province on the theme of its motto from John 8:32 – “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” The new three-stanza anthem must be “properly worded and theologically sound.”

The first all-girl cathedral choir in the southern hemisphere has been launched at St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne, Australia. The choir is made up from 18 girls from Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School and gave a debut performance in the cathedral last week.
