The Anglican Church in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a concert at Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The concert, held on 10 July drew an audience of roughly 1500 people from different congregations, and included a variety of hymns and church music.

The first half of the concert featured hymns that reflected the Nicene Creed. Geoff Weaver, music director of both Lambeth Conferences 1998 and 2008, conducted the second half, including the premier of a hymn he wrote for the celebration.

Felix Yeung, music director of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, said that all performers on stage expressed and practised their faith through music. He hopes that the evening was more than just a concert to the musicians and the audience, but will continue to inspire all involved, musicians and audience members, in their faith.
