The Provincial House of Bishops has appointed Bishop Melter Tais as the 6th Diocesan Bishop of Sabah. Please continue to pray for him. He is a man of God committed to Discipleship Training, Evangelism and Mission.
He is 50 years old and married to Angeline Wong, and they have 4 children. He was ordained as priest in 1993, made Canon in 2006, installed as Archdeacon in 2007, consecrated Assistant Bishop in 2009, appointed Vicar-General in 2014.
May the Good Lord continue to lead, guide and protect him.
