Archbishop Jeffrey Driver is pleased to announce the Episcopal Ordination of The Venerable Dr Timothy Harris to be Bishop in the Diocese of Adelaide.
The consecration service will be held at St Peter’s Cathedral this Sunday November 20 at 4.00pm.
“I am delighted to welcome The Venerable Tim Harris back to the Diocese of Adelaide where he has served a great deal of his ministry,” Archbishop Driver said.
“Tim comes to us as a respected leader, an able scholar and an experienced pastor. I am sure his ministry as Bishop for Mission and Evangelism will enrich the Diocese of Adelaide in many ways.”
Tim Harris has returned to Adelaide after a number of years as the Dean of Bishopdale Theological College in Nelson and Archdeacon for Theological Education and Ministry Formation in that Diocese.
Prior to his time in New Zealand Tim had spent thirteen years as rector of St Matthew’s Anglican Church at Kensington.
