A new Dean is needed for St Frumentius’ Theological College in Gambella to train clergy for the growing number of Ethiopian Anglican churches.

The first Anglican theological college in Ethiopia, named after Saint Frumentius, has been officially opened by the Archbishop of Jerusalem and the Middle East, Mouneer Anis. Ethiopia is part of Archbishop Mouneer’s diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa.

The Anglican Church of ANZP have announced that Bishop Don Tamihere has been elected Archbishop of the Province’s Maori Tikanga.
The next Primate of the Anglican Church of Tanzania will consult with bishops and lay leaders as the province prepares for its 50th anniversary.
