The Archbishop of the Enugu Province of the [Church of Nigeria] Anglican Communion, the Most Revd Dr Emmanuel Chukwuma, has called for the immediate transfer of security operatives of Northern extraction to Boko Haram ravaged areas.

The Archbishop, who gave the advice to President Goodluck Jonathan, said such a move would boost the fight against insurgency in the area.

Speaking during an event at the Cathedral Church of Good Sheppard, Enugu, to mark his 25 years of his episcopacy, he stated that northern military and police officers were in a position to fight the insurgents because they know the terrain of the Boko Haram strongholds.
