The Bosnian Bible Project is the project of the Life Centre International, Croatia. The Bosnian New Testament, translated directly from the Nestle-Aland 27th Edition of the Greek New Testament, is the result of a long-term collaborative effort by a team of scholars, translators and linguists based in Croatia and Bosnia (incl. Ruben Knezevic, Senahid Halilovic) - and was publicly presented to the nation in Sarajevo, Bosnia, on 18 April 2002 in the presence of many Bosnian dignitaries representing all segments of Bosnian society. The event was extensively covered by the Bosnian media, including the Bosnian Television, as an event of major national and cultural significance.

Life Centre International Bible Project Team is convinced that the launching of the Bosnian New Testament translation is a history-making event, because this is the first ever translation of the biblical text into what is today accepted as the official Bosnian language. Moreover, the LCI team is already working on setting the stage for the continuation of the translating activities. Their objective is to provide the entire Bible in the contemporary Bosnian language.
